What on earth are you talking about? For your information, dear lady, the other group you mention in fact has gotten first hand confirmation of the mold problem in the Upper Room from Sabrina Coulston herself! It is our understanding that her ministry owns the building. If you are going to comment about our threads, please read them in their entirety before you do so. You will notice that Todd Barwick shared an e-mail he received from Sabrina relative to this matter.

From one of our recent posts on our group site. To wit:

Dear Friends:

I received a very nice reply from Sabrina Coulston of Flames-of-Fire
Ministry regarding the status of The Upper Room. As you are aware,
Sabrina & Earl Coulston, the founders of Flames-of-Fire, own The
Upper Room, the former PTL studios, The Barn, the campgrounds and
through Earl's development company are developing the residential
area known as Emerald Lakes at the former Heritage USA site.

Sabrina more than anyone regrets having to close The Upper Room but
her first priority is for the safety and welfare of those who come to
visit the building on a daily basis. The Coulston's have already
spent $75,000 of their OWN monies (not ministry monies) attempting to
remidiate the mold situation in The Upper Room. Two mold experts
have examined the building. In fact, one expert was in the process
of examining the building on the very day that Jim Bakker erroneously
announced on his television show that the building was to be
demolished.

After the first attempt at ridding the building of mold, it was
thought that the situation had been resolved until mold reappeared
again on tablecloths and surfaces inside The Upper Room necessitating
Pastor Lambright and the Freedom Christian Center to relocate from
the building. One expert deemed the mold to be deadly toxic black
mold, although this has not been fully substantiated.

Sabrina states that because the weather in the Fort Mill area has
been so dry lately, the mold is in a dormant stage and they are not
able to determine as yet if the problem has been rectified or if it
will re-emerge once rainy weather starts.

The Coulston's and their ministry are committed to doing everything
possible to save The Upper Room - if it can be saved. I believe this
should be evident by their significant personal monetary investment
in attempting to resolve the mold situation.

At this time, they are basically in a holding or "wait and see" mode
in hopes that when rainy weather returns - the mold will not. Please
keep The Coulston's and their ministry in your prayers as they deal
with this unfortunate situation with The Upper Room.

Would you two please go somewhere else with this madness. It smells. This thread was started to have True Stories that might inspire someone. You know like inspire someone to have faith. You could start your own thread and title it "Lets just see how poor of a witness to the world we can be" by Rick and his non-named (cause it would really shock you to find out who I really am) friend(?). Go away. You are scaring folks away that have valuable stories that might just help someone stay in the faith. I know you two are attention seekers and need to stay in the spotlight but you can start your own thread and then your fans could read that and the rest of us can have some peace. How is that for TRUTH?

Very well said. I most certainly would love to end this dialogue betwen LS and myself - but it appears that she's the one that refuses to stop. When she outright calls me a liar then I surely have the right to defend myself.

I am clearly willing to drop this right now. Question is: Is Lady Star also willing to drop this right now?

I for one do not want to cause anyone any trouble, uncomfort, etc. If I had Lady Star's e-mail address most certainly this would have become a private dialogue a long time ago.

A "Beezy" Sermon

It was a summer Sunday Morning church service in the Barn. I'm not sure the occasion, but it was special as it was being taped, and Jim had called in all the staff, orchestra and choir. The Barn was full and the service was proceeding as usual. The Orchestra was behind Jim's left, and the choir behind his right. We were just about finishing the song before the sermon, when I noticed a rather large bee had gotten into the auditorium and was flying around the choir. The music ended, we sat down, and as Jim started to preach, others in the choir also began to notice the bee. As you would expect, some people did not like bees. As the bee drew near to the choir, you would see choir members start to squirm and try to move out of its way, without drawing attention from the congregation. However the service was being taped, Jim was speaking, and there was no place to go.
By this time, the Orchestra members were nudging each other to watch the bee, and enjoying the bee's tormenting the choir. As the bee flew its reconnaissance missions, the band and the choir became more focused on the bee, and all attention to Jim or his sermon vanished. At some point to the choir's delight, the bee decided to increase its mission to include the orchestra. While the band was enjoying the bee torment the choir, it did not want to deal with it. As the bee approached the band, you could see eyes light up, especially those of one trombonist, who vainly tried to swish it away with the slide of his trombone. The bee seemed to be enjoying the process, and started flying back and forth like a game of badminton. Watching this process unfold became amusing to several of us, as we were pinching ourselves and inflicting pain on ourselves, so as not to burst out laughing in the middle of Jim's solemn service. Fortunately, the bee kept its distance, Jim ended his service, and to this point is hopefully remembered only by those in the band and choir.

Thank you for the very funny story about the bee. My wife and I have something in common with it since she and I are in the music ministry of our church. She and I sing in the church choir, so we definitely could identify with this sort of a situation.

The " T " WORD Dummy, which is used so often and you seem to enjoy repeating is " TRYST " It needs to be FORGIVEN and FORGOTTEN and never posted again.

My mention about the UPPER ROOM was simply ment to say that if you had visited it or Prayed in it as many times a I have, your heart would not be interested in continuing to keep the JB " TRYST " in the public's mind by REPOSTING articles from the Media which mention it.

Your post on the other Web Site, seemed to indicate that perhaps I might not
agree or think or feel that The UIPPER ROOM was a " Beloved " Place, To ME it is the most " BELOVED " place on this property and always was and will forever be, and if you had Worshiped and Prayed in it as I have, you would NOT be posting articles about The so called " TRYST ", Go back and review the last Media article you posted on the Heritage Site and see if it don't mention the " T " word and incident, shame on you every time you do it.

Rick I am very confused. Why waste your time worrying over a person who remains anonymous? She does not have to identify herself but my opinion is she disqualifies herself because she doesn't. Who can take her seriously? She lives close. So what. She is the only one calling you a liar. Does that not tell you something. It certainly should. I have seen people whose identity we know correct you and it has been well taken. None of us get it right 100% of the time. Only predators of some type need to hide. Hers is being the accuser. Don't let the accuser push your buttons. If you get it wrong there are those of us who know and were there that will help you get the facts straight. And, you can help us when we get it wrong. My say is put her behind you where she belongs.

I agree, the best thing we can do is to wash our hands of this person once and for all. I think simply ignoring this person would definitely be in order.

I'm with you all. I want to know as much about Heritage USA, PTL, etc. as the next person. The funny stories that you guys posted earlier in this thread were great. I loved the water balloon story.
