Just wanted to let everyone know that as of June 21, 2005 I have started a new Yahoo! group hopefully to replace the PTLHERITAGEUSA board that the moderator recently decided to close. While not much is there right now, I hope that you will consider joining and posting your thoughts, pics, etc. regarding the rebirth of the former Heritage USA complex in Fort Mill, SC. This is mainly a site not to debate the past, but to keep informed about future progress at this wonderful facility. Construction updates are very much welcomed! Join today!

Folks;

Be advised that the previous post is extremely deceiving regarding " The rebirth of Heritage USA/PTL. "

How I wish it was true, I do not for the life of me understand the point that is being projected, about " Heritage USA/PTL " now being rebirthed/restored.

The honest fact is: There are two wonderful (but seperate) Ministries which are in the process of establishing themselves on two portions of the property that use to be known as " HERITAGE USA/PTL " the rest of the place has been and still is being developed into Subdivisions and covered UP with Residential dewellings, thats the HONEST TRUTH as God knows it to be........absolutely NOTHING which is indicative of " HERITAGE USA/PTL " and just why many people who admit they have NEVER set foot on the property want to make posts to the effect that " HERITAGE USA/PTL" is being " Rebirthed/Restored" is far, far beyond my comprehension.

Folks.........I live here on the property and therefore I know what is happening on a daily basis.
Perhaps to you who really care and perhaps can will come and see for yourselves, what the reall truth is you just may be left wondering just as I am........WHAT IS THE POINT?????????

The point is that many people enjoy talking about what is really happening at the old Heritage USA. While the old has pasted away, we have a ministry restoring the old Grand Hotel to be used for ministry. Fact is, at the beginning of Sunday services they honor the old PTL partners and thank them for building such a place. Come and hear for yourself! Don't take a poo pooer's word for it. Come and listen for yourself. They don't claim to be restoring Heritage USA back to the way it was. But, they are in fact, restoring and rebirthing some great ministries. Consider yourself invited to come and see for yourself. It is no lie! It's the truth!

My apologies if my inference was that the PTL Club ministry was being rebirthed/restored as that was not what I meant. If you had clicked on the link that I had included to my new Yahoo group, the introductory paragraph to the group indicates that my group's purpose is to celebrate and keep informed on the 2 NEW ministries locating at the former Heritage USA property-Morningstar's "Heritage International Ministries" and Sabrina Coulston's "Flames of Fire Ministry."

I simply meant to state that the former Heritage USA PROPERTY was being restored. (Meaning the land, the buildings, the physical plant). I could have used the name "Regent Park" but frankly I thought that the majority who post here are more familiar with the Heritage USA name when speaking of the property in Fort Mill.

I have in fact "set foot" on the property many, many times and I know that the majority of the property is a mixed use residential development known as "Regent Park" and is comprised of condominiums, townhouses, and single family homes of varying price ranges. I also know that the centerpiece of this property is a championship Ron Garl golf course and that future plans for the property include commercial ventures such as restaurants, retail and the like.

I just personally think that it is a wonderful thing that SOME of the buildings at this site which were formerly owned by Heritage Village Church & Missionary Fellowship, Incorporated are being restored to be used by these 2 separate and distinct ministries for religious purposes.

Ladystar, I do not appreciate you saying that my post was "deceiving." Perhaps you did not mean to be offensive, but I must admit that I was taken aback by the tone of your post and your choice of words. Please know that my thoughts were genuine.

Thank you for making it clear to all the many WONDERFUL Folks who have been lead by some of the previous posts to think that Their much Beloved HERITAGE USA/PTL was being " REBIRTHED/RESTORED."

OK Now.......I wonder just why we can't get behind the two wonderful Ministries that are in the process of establishing themselves on two seperate portions of the PTL Property and start calling them by their correct names which are MORNINGSTAR/HIM AND.....THE FLAMES OF FIRE MINISTRY and can we just cut with the business of calling the two Ministries " HERITAGE USA /PTL BEING RESTORED/REBIRTHED? " and when we speak of the two Ministries here, The correct and right way would be to speak of them by their ESTABLISHED NAMES don't you think????? in speaking of their location it would be correct to refer to that as being on a PORTION of the FORMER Heritage USA/PTL property!!!! Do you not understand MY point Todd and Whom ever else????? anything otherwise IS being DISHONEST and UNTRUTHFUL with the people who live far away and have a previous invested interest in the place.

So.....come on Folks we don't call a Kitty Cat a Dog and a Dog a Kitty Cat do we?? lets JUST BE HONEST with each other!

But this much is true. I attended HIM's service last night. It was amazing. One of the main worship songs ( new just written) was about rain coming in the desert. Robin McMillan got up and spoke about living water that you can drink from. Living water flowing from your belly. Steve Thompson got up and confirmed Robin's word. I'm sure they made tapes for anyone who is interested in finding TRUTH. Sound familiar. I got there a little late and had to wait until after worship to find a seat due to the large crowd (on a Friday night). The parking lots were full. Must have been several thousand people there. Sound familiar? Hundreds responded for ministry. I wanted to see for myself. Oh yeah, I saw lots of new homes being built on the property too. Lots of them. And actually the folks at Regent had made some major repairs to the roads contrary to what you have been told before. Sure there is still some areas that need some work but it sure was nice to see the repairs that have been made. I think Ladystar has one thing very right. You need to come and see for yourself. Advice I think others have given also.

I very much understand your point, and please forgive me as I am new to this board. In reading back over some of the previous posts I do see your point in that there is quite a bit of misinformation in past postings.

I too prefer to use the current names for the facilities in place at this location. I hope that everyone is familiar with them. For those who aren't, here we go:

REGENT PARK - the name given to the property formerly known as Heritage USA. Regent Park is a mixed used development consisting mainly of single-family homes, townhouses, condominiums and it's centerpiece is a beautiful Ron Garl championship golf course. Basically, it's a residential community - not a religious oriented retreat or recreational facility. Future expansion plans include commercial businesses (retail, restaurants, & offices) and additional residential units.

HERITAGE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES - Morningstar Ministries purchased the former Heritage Grand Hotel complex (hotel, unfinished tower, sand castle & partner center) encompassing 52 acres of property for their local church and to establish a ministry school and conference center. This facility will not operate as a commercial hotel but strictly as a ministry.

FLAMES OF FIRE MINISTRY - Sabrina Coulston leads this worldwide missionary outreach. They are in the process of restoring the former Barn Auditorium, Upper Room & TV Studios. It is my understanding that the also own the amphitheater which is currently leased to Narroway Productions. Her husband Earl is developing a great majority of the property located beyond the railroad tracks.

I hope that this helps those who aren't familiar with the property understand who & what is located here. Lady Star, if you can further clarify for those who aren't as familiar with the property please do. And better yet, current day pictures are also wonderful. I'd love to have some at my Yahoo group so we can all see what's going on!

You are SOooooooo Right on and I am thankful that you finally saw MY point, I only wish with all my heart and soul that many others who make posts to the message boards would be Honest and Truthful up front with their postings, Calling the Two Ministries which are becomning Established here, exactly what they are and NOT PRETENDING that they ARE the rebirth or restoration of Heritage USA and PTL that so many thousands came to Love and enjoy and know about, back when there really was such a place and Ministry.

I personally feel that each of the two Ministries which are NOW located here, are extremely capable of standing on their OWN MERITS and RECOGNIZANCE since neither are brand new Ministries but are rather well established in their OWN RIGHTS and have simply chosen this location to expand their Ministries.

Just how some of the people get off with their insinuating remarks and claims that.....Heritage USA and PTL are being Restored and Rebirthed is and will forever be a mystery to ME just what do they GET out of such misformation??? Perhaps it has been nothing more than the thrill they receive from just being COMBATIVE with a Female who insists on truth and honesty in description of their posts.

Ya know, Lady Star. . . or you SHOULD know by this juncture in time that most if not ALL of the people in these Heritage/PTL-related discussion groups have LONG SINCE been wised up to your negative tactics and the trivial, offensive, retaliatory tripe you have continued to post back in response to others who disagree with your genre and interpretation of what is actually taking place on the 'FORMER' and the long-gone, past history era of the Bakker/Heritage/PTL regime.

In my 14 June posting (when I had just recently joined this TIW site) I had high hopes and aspirations that you might possibly have FINALLY got the drift that NO ONE in these groups like people who continue to rock the boat and create waves of a negative nature! It is quite evident that such has not been the case since you have continuously retaliated and bashed those who have disagreed with your perception of what is going on at
Regent's Park currently, and have had the brass to contradict and wrangle already with Todd and what he had posted in this group as a new member. It most certainly does not give new members much of an incentive to have even joined the group if you are so firmly intent on disputing and downgrading what they are offering as sincere 'input.'

I humbly apologize to all our members for feeling compelled to post this message since I had promised in another post I'd made to this group that I would NEVER deign to, and humiliate myself in responding to any of your future put-downs, but you have indeed tripped my trigger for THE LAST TIME. So I am, however, compelled to post this ONE LAST THING in this nice group, and this time I have REAL high hopes that you will cool it and 'stifle' your negative responses to other posts that are inputted here for the genuine benefits of everyone else!
I have also noted that you have not wised up to using your 'spell checker' before you post on this group. So you can indeed call me a "NUT CASE" as you did previously or tell me to go fix my 'chicken 'n dumplings' as you told Gary, and whatever response you retaliate with will from henceforth and hereafter be shed like water off a duck's back! So just go back and fly into your 'queen bee's hive' since the rest of us will not be listening to the negative trash you will be posting in rebuttal. We all know that 'you live on the grounds' but appear to be totally incapable of the beneficial reconstruction efforts that are being done there. . .other than the ticky, tacky, cheap housing that is being built currently.

I readily admit to strecthing the truth on some of my posts here like regularly attending Morningstar church. But you have admitted to doing the same thing.
