Greetings everyone,

I know that each of you on this board are truly interested in
Heritage USA. I communicated that I would let you know from time to
time how things are going. Third Millennium Ministries new office has been open for over a month and already we have been having "public" meetings for three weeks. Those meetings have been great times of sharing stories, relaying
experiences, and simply fellowshipping. It is also a time of sharing
information, new information concerning the progress we are making
for the restoration of Heritage USA and the ministries that took
place there. We have begun meeting on Tuesday nights at 7:00pm at the
offices located at 2950 Hwy 21 Bus. in Ft. Mill, SC. For those who do
not know the area, it is located between the original entrance and
the new entrance to the former Heritage USA property.
I would have to say that the meetings have been sort of a surprise to
me. Because of posts made here and other sites concerning Heritage
USA events, I was expecting alot of confrontation, speculation, and
outright negative attacks. However, that is not what I found. The
people here are ready for the restoration to take place. I have found
people that have been praying for this to happen. I can not tell you
of the number of times people have looked at me and said,"I have been
praying for you." I understood they were not praying for Keith Smith
but rather the one who would answer the call. I don't believe that I
am the only one called to do this, I believe God is calling people
all over this nation to become part of this restoration process. The
reason most of you are even talking about this now is because of the
calling. My question for you is, will you answer the call? We are
meeting at 7:00 pm every tuesday night at 2950 Hwy 21 Business.
I keep seeing on these posts people wanting to see "the plan". The
plan is to gather the people who are answering the call. We need not
concern ourselves with the end product if we can't get off the
ground. The plan is to get direction from God one step at a time.
That first step is for people to come into agreement. I am not
ignorant to the fact that everybody is not going to be a part of this
movement. But I do believe God has always had a remnant of believers
to carry out His calling. If that is not you then you will find no
satisfaction in anything that I say or write. But I believe that if
you trust God more than man, and God has been calling you for this
purpose, you will respond in the affirmative. If God is the head, all
the blanks don't need to be filled in for you to believe, hence faith.
The plan will require you to have faith that God is more sovereign
than I. Accountability and excellence have been the two words that
arise each time I speak. Accountability and excellence to those over
you, not around you.
Listen, I love each and everyone of you, I hope to meet each and

I want to take a moment to thank Keith Smith for responding to
the questions I posted the other day. I am also glad to see his group
is holding weekly meetings, and it certainly appears that he and his
group are serious about wanting to purchase the former Heritage USA
property and lead the restoration process.

In a potential transaction this large, it is quite understandable
that certain details cannot be made public up front.

The restoration of Heritage USA ministries is the primary focus in the early stages of growth. We have begun meeting on Tuesday nights. Those meetings have produced the birthing of the first ministry to be restored. Providing clothing to the needy. Providing a place where people can come and clothe their families whether they have the financial means or not. Heritage USA was known for the “people that love centers” where underprivileged families could come and get their clothing needs met. Restoration has come.
May will be a month of preparation, we will be acquiring the needed resources and planning for the opening. June will be a month of activity, getting the facility ready for the public. We have secured a facility in Ft. Mill. It is located directly across the street from the police station. It is approximately 1500 sq. feet. It will have clothing. and facilities for washing and drying clothes. It was previously a coin laundry that shut down in 2001. God has blessed us with all the equipment that is currently there. There is much work to be done, but we will accomplish that which God has directed us to do.
It will cost approx. $10,000 to get the facility ready to open. Once open, we plan on it being self supportive.
We will filling the need for clothing in the Ft. Mill area. This truly is a great time to be a part of this movement. The restoration has begun.

Ok, here is my thoughs on this. I happened to have lived in a run down 30 yr old Red roof inn that was opened by a tight fisted Indian man called Charlie (we called him that it was a nck bre his true name was almost unpronounable). It was still moderately liveable but saw bbetter days.
It was a place for people who were virtually homeless to live. It looked it.
Why did I bring this up? Because You would be amazed by how some buildings last.
I disagree that Heritage USA should be demolished. The Tower was never occupied and with the exception water damage in some areas, It is still probably still habitable.
The Barn is toast. Yea we know that. But Main street and the water park could be salavged.
But here is the problems and the solution. When a Structure of any type is used for God's glory on a repetitive basis even the walls get saturated with the glory.
For secular people, it will give them the equavelent of a haunted house. If you are not a christian you will not have peace. Its that simple.
So everyone who bought it, leased etc, failed. The only poeple who can make a go of it are christians.
It is probably worth several if not 10s of millions. To the guy (i assume you are) who was called to save it, so a seed against your need. Since $1 = at least $100 then about $50,000 should solve that. Don't have that in pocket change? So smaller amounts. Do this, create a fund. Get some major Ministries involved.
I feel that you are on the right road and alot of people have put in good input.
It will be costly, but I someone can take exterior shows and there is a squatter there than you can probably get in to some of the building to see how badly damged (or not) they are.

As for our scripture quoting friend. I suggest you right divide the word. I see a property filled with saddness. It could be filled with joy again. God odesn't make monuments to any sin and neither should we. But are we giving that Property to satan? Are we saying he won? Right now, I would say yes.
It needed to be resurrected. It will be major work. But speaking as someone whose Great garndmother bought a lifetime room and only used it once, I think we need to give it a chance. Even if it is half the size it once was.

I suppose you must be new to this Group, from the sound of your Post, it sounds as tho you are aquainted very little with all the past, and present details pertaining to Heritage USA.

There is one statement which in actuality says it all, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE can or will be able to purchase the property UNTIL and IF the present OWNERS CHOOSE TO SELL IT, you need to know that there have been CASH offers made which was the asking price for the property and an excuse was made for not accepting the offer. There is a definite reason for why the Owners don't want to sell that section of property for the purpose of a Ministry to be built there.....I am sure you don't know why however.....I do!

So Very Much more than what Meets the eye involved here!!!!

MorningStar Ministries has purchased the old Heritage USA Grand Hotel and Conferance center along with 52 acres of the remaining property. We are planning a restoration of the property along with renaming it Heritage International Ministries. Hope this information helps, you can find out more at this link.

Thanks for the Info NC EAGLE what a great revelation to all of us, However...there is no "conference center" in the purchase of the 52 acres not yet anyway, the Towers is suppose to be emploded at some future date and then...the plan is to build a Conference Center where it now stands.

Sounds as if tho you need to pay a visit to H.I.M and get your info straight and correct.

My contention still is: that the days of PTL/HERITAGE USA at it's original place is all over, and to try and make People believe otherwise is a FALSE RUMOR.

I thank God that an established Ministry is on a small portion (52 acres) of the Property, I Pray God's Blessings on them.

52 acres is a few short of 2200 acres most of which is covered up with residental dewellings or in the process of becomning such.

I think you failed to notice the link which when followed, tells exactly what was bought by MorningStar and what the intended use is, no rumor stated or implied otherwise. And I never said that Heritage USA or the PTL club was going to be restarted, involved or otherwise. Restoration of the property means that the buildings and grounds will recieve the much needed restoration and care they have not recieved for the past 15 years, such as paint and so forth. The reason Hertiage is still in the name is because we do not believe we should cover up the past of the property or try to hide it, but the past is to be learned from and redeemed. That is the message of the Gospel, to be redeemed and be restored to God. The fact that my simple and understated post seemingly stepped on your toes speakes volumes, and that was not my intention. Rather I felt that a lot of people would be relieved to hear that a christian group indeed had ownership of some of the property. That land is consecrated ground, it was purchased with a widow's mite and it belongs to God's glory, that is why no secular organization has prospered there. I stated what I did exactly as stated by the people involved in the actual business transaction. I'm sorry this has caused you so much pain. Be blessed and be happy.
