Guys, I think we need to end this dialogue with LadyStar. This really is serving no useful purpose. I will extend my challenge to her, though. If she insists on people posting the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about Heritage USA, PTL, etc. then why doesn't she tell us everything she knows? Including everything.

Many months ago I ended dialogue with this person. But as people(people I worked with or people that invested into the ministry I worked for) pass by this site I want them to know that most if not all of us employees of the former ministry know at PTL/HUSA were doing the work of the "ministry".

I dont know who you are nor rick, don, or anyone else who posts on here are.
I had no idea of what PTL was at all. I'm 26 and I had heard of Jim and Tammy but no idea about the deceit and deception of Jim but have researched it since then. I Found the site through searching out defunct amusement parks. Saw old pictures of PTL's site, the hotel, auditorium etc.

I have to tell you that this whole back and forth between you and the gentlemen that seem not to care ( ) who you are is great. My question is; why would they continue with you if they didn't care . I somehow walked into a soap opera that nobody knows about and it's great. Your vacation for a year was great and I've spent many late nights reading the drama.

They take a hollier than thou attitude just because your unnamed and I truely love it.

Obviously you have strived to tell the truth about what happened and also unmask others lies. I tell you though, I can't quiet understand why they get so upset. Through your words all you do is try to clarify and correct their statements and they always give you a hard time. I can tell your happy to see the former PTL grounds rise from the ashes into a place for the Lords work as I know everyone else is.

I just started reading Forgiven by Charles E. Shepard (im sure it doesn't get the story straight either) but I'm sure it is a great testimonial of the rise and fall of PTL and how the greed of a man unraveled his ministry. It must have been horrible for Jim to be in a position where he knew he needed (X) number of dollars to keep the ministry running but it just wasn't feasable. Instead of scaling back his plans for the hotel or postponing the current expansion at the time he decided to deceit his followers and that is a shame. We see it time and time again. Here in Houston we had the Enron scandal which is about the same. Cooking the books basically but there wasn't stocks per se.

Seems most of these people want to sweep the bad under the rug and only talk about the good but this just like segregation, slavery, sexism, racism, basically all of our past problems as America and as a people should be left on display so that these things will never be repeated. I agree it hurts and we make mistakes we want to forget about but having those mistakes in front of us as a reminder helps us to not make the mistakes again.

Anyways LadyStar, Just wanted to say I love seeing you make these guys squirm. Keep on with the truth.

You know the ones who considered themselves to be " INSIDERS "and whose Posts wanted people to believe they know much more than anyone else AND who kept inisisting that " HERITAGE USA/PTL WAS/IS BEING RESTORED " and the one Lady Star kept telling you all the truth.

It appears that the " INSIDERS " as they referred to themselves must have had some kind of motive for trying to promote such a theory, It ain't happening Folks believe you me IT JUST AIN'T HAPPENING!!! MERCY ME How I wish it was.

Nope. I was never that stupid.

Unlike yourself, my experience in the world of electronic media was pretty much limited to work in my college practicum courses and we did a weekly newsmagazine show on the local cable TV access channel.

I've been completely out of the business since 1990. Been in one form of sales or another since then in order to make a living.

NOT ME, NOT ME!! I have never discussed the afore mentioned individual on this particular thread, the thread somehow got started and named by someone else and absolutely NOT ME!!

My entire reason for contributing Posts here on this Web/Thread was and still is: To keep the " LIES OF DECEPTION " as exposed as is possiable.

I Think time has pretty much proven that what was being presented by a few here as well as another Web Site has been sadly lacking in truth and reality.

My Dear Mother use to teach my Siblings and myself that " IF YOU CAN'T SPEAK THE TRUTH....THEN KEEP YOUR TONGUE TIED AND MOUTH SHUT " a very good rule of thumb.

One thing I have found to be true is that it takes a person who loves to bend and stretch the truth and is good at it to be a good SALESMAN, I bet you are a fantastic SALESMAN!!!
