I have just watched the movie...and I know of such things as certain things have happened to me...however, I speak to mine and they communicate..they are beings that have passed on in hate unfortunate victims of this world...that have been trapped in the lower realms unable to deal with unfortunate things thus hate is generated. Whether they are victims or dealers. Because I believe in only giving love and forgiveness and have been able to produce light for others to pass on, I have had many attacks, as they are drawn to light...plus having ircumstances of emotional abuse I believe they have attached theselves to me in the afterlife until I have learnt the lesson intended so that they may pass on with it. There still remains one, the darkest it seems as the pain is unbearable at times when I seek to push them out running up and down throughout my body..The only way is to not ignore but to show them that there abuse of a being is wrong and there seeking to move on cannot be done through another as they are causing more pain. To speak to them through love and light is the only way. They are you and me, deceased. No different! They are caught however in an entrapment because in the lifetime that you and I now live they had not risen with enlightenment form God the one the universe that resides in us all... So although this pain of an entity attached may be there...I can communicate with them and speak to them..to find there true selves....

demons, evil spirits, satan they are all real. Sometimes you can see them in people, they may come to you as a strong smell of smoke, and they do talk. Now the next time when it comes to you, you need to know how to get rid of the spirit.

I seen the movie of the entity and the rape of Carla Moran in it. I read most of the posts here and every one has a story of being raped to. I like to say Bull **** to all this fake dreams of people and the movie. If their was such a thing of paranormal rape by a ghost or deamon I would be the first to drop my jeans and say come and get me. Then again their is some woman I would like to get the so called paranormal ghost/demon to go and get them and see it happen. But I can't get the 1-800-ghost-rape number to work, it seems the number is like the stories here, it is all out of order!!!!

P.s. One other thing in that movie the entity, it seems that when she was getting banged and she was pushed up on the mirrior in the bathroom how come it sounds like she said oh god help me then she said **** me. Well that entity sure did in this movie. Also how come she also was banged out in the open in front of her kids.. Who was the ****y scrip writer who put that in, and no one saw that.. Looks like every one got their joys over that Entity in that family. I belive nothing on this Enity movie or the posts. But I Hope the entity was DD free for every one. Maybe if part 2 comes out, the entity rapes the daughter and has a kid with her to. Maybe the scrip writer could come up with something like he did in this Entity movie..

I understand why some people don't believe in such things and dismiss them as "sleep paralysis" but when you haven't even been asleep yet then it can't be sleep paralysis now can it? The problem with all aspects of humankind and society is that people are closed-minded about things they don't understand or believe. I really hate that about people. Instead of taking a leap of faith it's automatically, "no, you're wrong and I have the right answer." Take a step down, off your high horse, and open up to the possibility that you don't have the answers to everyone's problems. If you ever experience what we have you may change your tune. I will never forget what happened and I constantly wonder if it ever will again. Do people with sleep paralysis feel that way? Doubt it.

I have also experienced as if something was near me, just right before REM sleep & it is just as you explained it...as if you can't breathe. It's as if you are afraid to breathe!! I felt that deer in the headlights feeling, as if you can't move or even cry out. I thought it was perhaps my imagination running away with me. I would understand if I had just watch a scarey movie or something related to that, but it was just a regular night just before getting comfy in my bed, lights out & then there was that feeling as if something was very close to me & it didn't feel friendly. I am not afraid of the dark...as a child we all have been, but I am over 25 years old. What brought me to this BLOG was that movie Obviously "The ENTITY" As I was reading on, it made me realize, I indeed am not the only one who has experienced that feeling of something near while in the dark & in bed (I feel whatever it is preys on you when you are most vulnerable, which makes sense... right before falling alseep) I never spoke to anyone about it, mainly for the reason of looking insane, but now as I mentioned reading your short explanation of what occured with you. I now know it can't be my imagination & I don't want to talk about it in fear of opening a proverbial gate if you will. So I just want to leave it alone! Also I don't experience it everynight...It has only happened a few times this past 2009. Now I wish I would have documented it & kept a log of the few occasions in which it occured. I just want it to stop happening & not think about it.

I stumbled across this site after watching the movies Paranormal Activity and Paranormal Entity with my husband this morning for the first time for the purpose of investigation to prove or disprove the accuracy of such accounts. I have never watched the movie The Entity. Several weeks ago, I watched The Haunting in CT. I do not know for certain if this movie is based on a true story or not as was suggested at the end of the movie. I am 42 years old, married, and have four beautiful children ages 11,7,5, and 21 months. I have a graduate education and practice medicine, a speciality which I will not disclose to protect mine and my family's privacy. I do not have a diagnosed mental illness that I am aware of besides the usual obssesssive-compulsive disorder most highly intelligent people suffer from. I have had an encounter with an evil entity on more than one occasion, the most recent being several months ago in my home where I live with my family. My first experience goes back some twenty years ago or so and I don't recall them happening before I played with a ouiwa board (sp?). I was home from medical school for a weekend visiting my family. I was in my bedroom. Incidentally, my family still lives here, and in my "dream" I don't know what else to call it, I was thrown into my bedroom closet, which became this never ending tunnel of darkness. I was being dragged through this tunnel which seemed to rapidly descend. I felt this evil presence clutching me and pulling me into the darkness. I was truly frightened to the point I started to pray the Our Father and the Hail Mary... I was released of it's grip and was back in my bed. My childhood bedroom by the way has three walls which are all considered to be part of the external walls of the house. My closest in particular jets out from one of these walls like an unusual add on. My room was always cold, especially in the New England winters. My next encounter, occurred at the apartment I lived while in medical school. I was sleeping and all of a sudden I became aware of a evil presence crushing and suffocating me. It was breathing heavy in my ear. It was on top of me and had my arms and legs pinned. I tried screaming and yelling but knew it was all in vain because my room mate was not there that night. I resorted again to praying the Our Father and the Hail Mary and was released again. This time I sat straight up in bed and saw a swirl of darkness leaving my bed, settling at the foot of my bed near the door. It was a dark figure from floor to ceiling and with my continued prayers it finally left. I was so frightened I would not even get up to use the restroom even though I had to desperately. I think I hovered under the covers that night asking why me?, what have I done to deserve this? I eventually fell back asleep. The most disturbing encounter happened 19 years ago in an apartment I shared with a male resident/ colleague. I was sleeping in my bedroom and in the early morning hours was awakened by heavy breathing and groaning in my left ear. I was horrified! At first, I thought I was having some sort of sexual dream/fantasy experience because I was actually aroused but then it turned into my worst nightmare. I was violently penetrated while being held down against my will. The heavy moaning and breathing from this evil presence was terrifying to the point I turned to prayer which made it go away. I believe in Guardian Angels, something was there to protect me that night. There is power in Prayer! I can not explain these occurrences which I experienced. I had not had one occurrence happen that I can remember since then, until a couple of months ago. I was up late watching t.v., playing on computer, my husband was sleeping. I was starting to fall into a deep sleep and was very conscious of where I was, I was laying next to my husband. First, I heard and felt the heavy breathing in my ear then it was on top of me, holding me by my wrists. Miraculously, I fought back with my nails. I felt my nails clawing and carving into something. I was giving no mercy. I made it mad! It showed me it's face, it was very evil, very demon-like. I then started praying the Our Father and the Hail Mary and it released me. I sat up straight in bed, woke my husband, told him what happened, made him turn on the lights, and hold me until I fell back asleep. Several nights later, I was up late again sitting in bed playing on computer when I decided to turn off the light on my night stand. I looked at the clock, it was 1:00 in the morning. At 1:15, our house alarm went off, we both sat straight up in bed, my husband jumped out of the bed, leaving me there terrified to go see where the security breach in the house was. Our house alarm sometimes goes off if there is a strong wind. When this happens, the breach is usually the windows in our exercise room. I was sitting up in bed waiting for my husband to return to the bedroom. When he walked in the bedroom I asked "where was the security breach?" He answered "the back door." I said, "what back door?" We have three that go out to the pool. He replied, " bedroom door." The bedroom door which leads to the pool is at the foot of the bed closest to the side of the bed where I sleep. It was not windy that night and my husband checked the door, it was locked. I am hoping that will be my last encounter.

I would like to hear about those stories if you are willing to tell of them. People who deny these things need to stop pretending that the existance of spirits and the like are not real. They dont want to admit it because they are afraid too.

I could only imagine,how those who've had experiences like these felt,.......until that night in July. I was at my families ranch near Chico CA, and it was around seven. That day the temp had topped 105, but it had started to cool down with the sun setting. I was alone, except for my dog Poncho, but that was the point. I always drove up on weekends, when I felt like a repreve from the city life of SF. The ranches size, fifteen thousand acres, gives the phrase " peace and quite" a new definition. I walked outside, poncho followed, and I had a smoke. As i sat there smoking, i tried to decide if I'd eat in town, or just BBQ a steak there. Completely dark now, so I walked back inside and glanced at my watch, realizing it was eight and that I'd been sitting outside for almost an hour, I was puzzled? but it only helped my choice to BBQ for dinner. I grabbed a stock of fresh corn, still in the husk, and rolled it in tin foil, opened the fridge and grabbed a porter house. Throwing everything, and some A-1 into a basket I started to walk out the door...But suddenly something hit my leg! I stumbled and looked down....."poncho what the ****" I screamed, but he ignored me. He stood infront of me, growling at something. I watched, in slow motion almost, as the hairs on his spine stood to attention....creating a ridge that ran down his back. His head cocked, growling deeply, he looked back as if to make sure I was ok. I was. Then I realized there might be something to his outburst, so I put everything down, and grabbed his collar and dragged him back into the house. His nails scratched the floor, as I pulled him backwards...sliding like a skater....he finally relented and came in. What is it boy? I said..mountain lion, coyote, what? he only stared into my eyes, as if to say don't go out there, or maybe that he told something not to come in? but all of a sudden he curled around my legs, kinda like a cat, but more clumsey. He licked my hands as i gave him praise....and sarcastically said " yes boy you take care of daddy, you scared away the monsters...goooood boyyyyy" Then it happened.

Religion maybe your route of defense but thats just like saying they dont exist when I clearly can see them. The truth is your physical and spiritual energy outweighs your foe. Why do spirits contact us at night. I am convinced its because we're at our tiredest point in the day. Its a weakness, something that can be exploitable.

Another thing is your fear is probably making this thing stronger, seeing a pyschologist may not be a bad thing. You shouldn't be afraid of anything, fear is weakness.

This was an excellent post and I would have to say that in my experience, you are absolutely right. It comes down to fear. At night we are weaker, tireder and the dark seems threatening. It has always represented a threat to early man, and that information is still within us today. It is much easier to prey on someone's fears at night.

This shows a lot of insight on your part. Do you have training or are you just naturally gifted?

I have had hauntings in my house, one time a ceiling tile flew across my kitchen and cut my arm it was witnessed by my cousin. Regularly objects fly across room. In addition many times the TV or radio turns off or on by itself. We have had the house checked by power company they are NOT voltage spikes. When I burn sage and tell it to go away angrily and tell it it is not wanted here, it stops for a long time.
