Suggestion for avoiding spam

Hey all, quick suggestion I thought I would nofity you off.

When you post your e-mail on the forums here, spam is often a result of doing that. Not from the TIW, but from bots that go around the internet looking for e-mail to collect for spammers. That is likely one of the big reasons why you get spam if you have done this before. (Like me a long time ago with my TIW e-mail). Keep in mind, this also apply at other forums, and chatrooms since that is where the bots look for e-mails. Matt said something like this once.

Trying typing your e-mail to look something like this:

someone (at) ISP.com

someone (at) ISP (dot) (com)

or a more simple way: someone @ isp . com

and other ways like that.

DON'T do this:

someone@isp.com

That is what the bots look for, but they don't pick up the ways at the top of this post.

Down with spam!
