Here's a few tips on how to think up new screennames. It's a little bit of work, but should help you to think up a screen name that's unique, not already taken, and most importantly --- YOU!

Perhaps I take screennames too seriously, but I've always thought that someone's screen name should be something personal and significant to them.

You can post in this forum to ask for screen name ideas, but give the method a below a shot too. Put a little effort into that which will be your "online persona".

How to "Think Up" Screennames

Your three best friends in thinking up a screenname are: your own brain, a thesaurus, and the internet. If you don't own a thesaurus, try thesaurus.com.

1. If I were forced with the difficult decision of trying to think up a new name for myself - I'd first do some brainstorming and write down everything that I was "in to" - everything I felt was part of me. Then I'd put them in kind of an order - of importance, or coolness, or what-have-you.
   
   Of course, because there's 40-gadzillion other people with screennames, most of these words.. and combinations of them would be taken. No one said this was going to be easy, right?
   
2. Here's where that thesaurus and the internet come in. What you want to do is find out MORE about each of the things that you wrote down on your list. For example, let's say you like soccer. Instead of thinking of names with 'soccer' in them, do a few internet searches for soccer information. Look for important words that have to do with soccer.. and see if any of them sound good to you. (You can do a search right at www.theideaweb.com )
   
   Do this for a few of the words on your list. Get about 5-10 alternatives for each word. The more unique sounding the word, the better.
   
   If you can't find anything on your favorite subjects by searching.. or if doing it that way just takes too long, use the thesaurus. You should be able to easily find words associated with your favorite things.
   
3. Start trying to create screennames using combinations of the words you found in step two. Be inventive, and if necessary.. include a few numbers between the words (or at the end).
   
   You should be able to find something that you like that isn't taken.
   
4. Now that you have a new screenname, keep it for a while. Part of the reason it's so hard to find a screenname that's not taken is people keep getting bored and making new ones. Sheesh.

• Translate them
• Put them in Pig Latin
• Make anagrams (wordsmith.org is good for this)

That's ok, not everyone likes anagrams.

I turned "Fool Resistant" into "Lost in a Forest" into "O Starlet of Sin" into "Not a Serif Lost."

But that's just me, the "word list" feature, and some creativity. Your anagrams may differ.

Another idea is to think of words of your favorite hobby or color or sport or whatever that rhyme with it. Go to http://www.poetry.com . Okay this might sound weird but i was helping someone else with s/ns they should use and things just started popping in my head and i came up with a new screen name...and believe me im not good with screen names when im making them up for myself ofcourse but this new one (( brightcrayon00 )) is not my fav. lol its an inside joke kind of too but i didn't realize it!!

hey ive got some screen names you could probably use the one who wants something with toxic in it you could have
